What is Waste Management?

Waste: Any substance that is produced as a result of production and usage activities, which is harmful to human and environmental health, and which is undesirable to be given directly or indirectly to the receiving environment.

The "Industrial Waste Management Plan", the format of which has been prepared by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, should be prepared by companies that produce hazardous and non-hazardous waste as a result of their activities and submitted to the Provincial Directorate.
