Ecosystem Evaluation Report

Ecosystem Evaluation Report

Ecosystem Evaluation Report is created during the EIA process of the planned project. The interaction of the project with nature is examined by experts and academics with scientific qualifications in their fields (ecologists, hydrobiologists, hydrogeologists, ornithologists, herpetologists, geologists, GIS Experts, etc.) from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks. Moreover, the report offers solutions to minimize the project’s negative effects and it is created as a result of academic studies. This report has especially importance in energy projects (Wind Power Plants (WPP), and Solar Power Plants (SPP)), and mining projects.

While the Ecosystem Reports are being prepared, the ecosystem diversity and features in the area; habitat types, vulnerability, rarity, and conservation priority status are determined. By using meteorological data, the effects of the ecosystem and habitat from the activity are determined, and determinations are made by various academics and experts before and after the activity. As a result of the information obtained from field studies, lists of plants and animals are prepared, and protective measures are taken by evaluating the possible effects of activities in the habitat.

Ecosystem Reports are prepared according to the special format by our expert staff as Ulus Engineering and academicians from various universities of our country. In addition, consultancy services are provided for the implementation of the procedures and principles determined in the preparation of the report.

Ulus Engineering has been authorized by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in 2016 with the EIA Qualification Certificate no. 286 and carries out activities in the following areas.
