Engine Oil Change Point Permit Application

Within the scope of WASTE OIL MANAGEMENT REGULATION published in the Official Gazette with the date 21.12.2019 and number 30985;

1. Motor vehicle owners have to change their engine oil at the engine oil change points that have received a permit from the provincial directorate. Motor vehicle owners deliver the waste engine oil to the engine oil change points if they do the oil change themselves.
2. Fuel stations, repair shops, services, public institutions/organizations, municipalities, businesses operating in the mining, and other businesses must obtain the permission of engine oil change point from provincial directorates. Certain conditions must be met in order to obtain a permit. These conditions are as follows.
   1. a. By establishing a temporary storage area,
   2. b. By applying to the provincial directorate and obtaining the Engine Oil Change Point Permit,
   3. c. By registering to the online programs of the Ministry (ECBS-Electronic Environmental Information System),
   4. d. It is responsible for notifying and approving the information regarding the engine oil change using the online program (ECBS).
3. The companies that change engine oil have to obtain the engine oil change point permit from the provincial directorate and to register to the online programs of the Ministry, within the framework of the provisions of this Regulation, until 1/7/2021.

Also;

It is forbidden to give waste oils to the soil, sewage, seas, lakes, streams and similar receiving environments, mix them with fuel oil, use them as fuel, make them used, and recover, incinerate and/or dispose of them by inappropriate methods.

The collection, transportation, refining, energy recovery, and/or disposal of waste oils by unauthorized third parties is prohibited.

Serious monetary penalties are imposed on those who do not comply with these conditions.
