Zero Waste System Installation Consultancy

WHAT IS ZERO WASTE?

It is an approach that aims to protect the environment and human health and all resources by preventing/reducing waste generation in production, consumption and service processes, giving priority to reuse, collecting the wastes separately at the source, and reducing the amount of waste by ensuring recycling and/or recovery.

WHY ZERO WASTE?

Increasing population and urbanization with the technological innovations that emerged due to the industrial revolution lead to differentiation in living standards and consumption habits. Thus, it causes more waste to be generated than in the past. In addition, it causes air, water and soil pollution to such an extent that it threatens all living things, especially the depletion of natural resources and climate change.

In order to control our waste within the framework of sustainable development principles and to leave a clean and developed Turkey and the world for the future generations, the zero waste principle should be targeted and waste management should be ensured with an integrated approach.

ZERO WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

It is a management system that includes all processes of waste reduction, separate accumulation at the source, temporary storage, separate collection, transportation and processing, prevention of waste generation with considering the cost and benefit factors.

The places in the Annex-1 list of the Regulation are obliged to establish a "Zero Waste Management System" within the scope of the "Zero Waste Regulation", which was published in the Official Gazette dated 12.07.2019 and numbered 30829 by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. These places; They have to obtain a "Zero Waste Certificate" at the basic level, and if they want to get silver, platinum and gold certificates, applications are made.
