Environmental Risk Analysis

The possibility of the negative effects on human health or the environment, directly or indirectly, due to the activities is called Environmental Risk.

Estimating the magnitude of risk in all its activities and deciding whether the risk can be tolerated or not is called Risk Assessment.

Environmental Risk Assessment is the whole study using qualitative and quantitive methods for identifying environmental hazards in the environment, revealing risks, and controlling risks.

What is the purpose of the risk assessment?

It helps us to define the hazards we can face, to determine the risks that may be caused in the risk assessment processes, and to reduce the risks to acceptable levels by taking the necessary measures according to the legislation.

Environmental Risk Management is the process of deciding what to do in which situation. Based on the current risk estimates, we can decide whether the risks are acceptable, what needs to be done to reach an acceptable risk level, and how to do it.
